“GO, THEREFORE, AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.” MATTHEW 28:19
Parkside partners with gospel-centered ministries locally, nationally, and globally. Its mission is to build a missional culture, within the church, by increasing prayer for missions, generosity toward missions, and participation in mission opportunities, so that Christ’s love is shared and His glory made known throughout the world.

When you give to missions at Parkside, a percentage of your giving will support the variety of local and statewide ministries, as well as missionaries serving around the world. Every year, we dedicate November as our Missions Month where we encourage generous giving to support missions in our town, state, and around the world.
COOPERATIVE PROGRAM

When you give through Parkside, a portion of your offering (6.6%) goes to the Cooperative Program. This is how Southern Baptist churches work together to support missions and ministry in our community, across Texas, and around the world.
Of that amount, 45% stays in Texas through the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (SBTC) to:
-
Help churches share Jesus and plant new churches
-
Support disaster relief and compassion ministries
-
Train pastors and strengthen churches across Texas
The remaining 55% goes beyond Texas through the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) to:
-
Send and support thousands of missionaries around the world
-
Start new churches across North America
-
Train future pastors and missionaries through our seminaries
So, when you give to Parkside, your generosity doesn’t stop here—it reaches people everywhere.

The Hanks Family
The Hanks family, Chuck, Tiffany, Emma, and Ben, moved to Lima, Peru in 2021 as a self-funded missionary for the Internation Mission Board. They work alongside Peruvian pastors to reach Lima and the surrounding areas with the message of the Gospel. Along with hosting Bible studies in their home and street evangelism, Chuck also works alongside other missionaries to provide video and graphic support to aid in spreading the Gospel. If you would like to partner with the Hanks family financially with a one-time gift or a reoccurring gift, CLICK HERE!

Rode Hao
Rode Hao started to fill the call to missions in 2020. Through much prayer and talking to friends and family, Rode decided to begin the process of applying to be a missionary with the International Mission Board. Over several months Rode met with advisors, participated in extensive training, and quit her local job to follow the call God placed upon her life. She was sent to Lima, Peru to work alongside the missionaries to spread the light of the Gospel. Rode is fully supported by the International Mission Board through the Cooperative Program. Continue to pray for Rode as she is in language training to be able to effectively communicate in Peru.
