MISSIONS MONTH AT PARKSIDE
November is Missions Month at Parkside! In the coming weeks, we will learn the importance of missions, how Parksiders are already on mission, how we can support mission efforts, and how we can get involved in missions - locally, nationally, and internationally.
Pastor Jeff will be preaching a missons-themed series, KNOW...GIVE...GO..., from the book of Acts, that looks at the life of Barnabas and how he grew missionally.
Nov. 10 - Barnabas grew missional in KNOWING
Nov. 17 - Barnabas grew missional in GIVING
Nov. 24 - Barnabas grew missional in GOING
Our Missions Ingathering goal this year is $100,000, which goes to support local, national, and international missions. We will have a special Ingathering Offering on Sunday, December 8, but you can give anytime between NOW and December 15. Operation Christmas Child demonstrates God's love to children in need worldwide, by delivering gift-filled shoeboxes and the good news of Jesus Christ. You can pick up a shoebox in the Worship Center on November 10, fill it with all kinds of goodies, and return the filled box November 17. We'll have a special time of prayer over the boxes. Help us reach this year’s goal of filling 300 boxes.
