About Us
Our hope is to build relationships so that we might have the privilege of being part of each child's spiritual journey, as they become a devoted follower of Christ. We believe a child’s spiritual growth begins at birth so that as your child grows, his knowledge of biblical truths deepens.
Your child’s faith experience begins the minute they enter Parkside. It’s exciting and fun. The children’s ministry will team up with you in reaching, teaching, and building children of real faith and character that lasts. We also offer tools to equip you as the primary spiritual leader in the home. As a parent/guardian, you will have the opportunity to participate in Sunday School and worship knowing that your child is being taught the Bible and is well cared for.

Birth - 6th Grade
KidZone Spring JAM

This is a two-day Worship Arts event for kids 3 years old – 6th grade that will include music, games, crafts, lunch, and preparation for our KidZone Spring Musical. We will also have childcare for bed babies through 2 years. The cost is $10 per child, for the first two children, and then $8 per child, after the first two. This covers their craft supplies, lunch, snack, and a CD with the musical songs. The deadline to register for childcare (bed babies through 2 years) is Sunday, April 21.

Start the Party VBS

All week long, kids will celebrate the Good News and be reminded of the reasons why Jesus is good news. He gives us friendship, belonging, forgiveness, abundant life, and purpose. VBS is for kids who have completed grades K-6.
1st-2nd Graders
Camp Copass Mini Camp, July 12-13

Mini Camp is a fun overnight experience for kids completed 1st and 2nd grade to get a taste of kids camp. Kids will have fun as they swim, play, and experience worshiping God with other kids their age.
Cost $110. Registration closes May 29th.

"Light It Up" KidZone Musical

KidZone Worship Arts presents "Light It Up", a musical about shining the light of God's love that brings a new outlook on the ways Christ diminished the darkness when He gave us life through Him and initiates ways for us to illuminate His love to others.
3rd-6th Graders
Camp Copass Trek I, July 8-12

Camp Copass is a highlight of summer! Located in Denton, TX, kids who have completed 3rd-6th grade will grow closer to God through outdoor activities, games, worship, bible study, and so much more!
Cost of Camp is $290. Registration closes May 29th.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday provides one of the best times for children to learn and interact with other children their same age while learning about the love of God. Visit our offices during the week or the Kids Welcome Desk on Sundays for class times and locations.

Special Needs
All Morning
The bloom room is a place where our special needs kids are cared for with loving adults and sensory elements.
Volunteer
As we try to introduce the next generation to Jesus, WE NEED YOUR HELP! We require all volunteers to submit to a background check and to complete a ministry safe training. Just contact Kathy in the church office and we will set up a time to visit about how you can impact the next generation for Jesus!
AWANA
Each Wednesday night from 6:15 pm-7:30 pm our AWANA team helps kids (K-6th grade) learn about Jesus and memorize scripture. We alway can use volunteers to listen to kids recite memory verses, assist in recreation, and help kids get to place to place.
Sunday Morning
On Sunday Mornings we offer K4 Worship in one hour and Bible Study in the other hour. We begin at 9am for Babies through 4th Grade. In the classroom, teachers will follow a given curriculum provided by Lifeway to teach Bible lessons to the kids. During the worship hour our adults help with games, worship, and assisting the teachers.
KidZone Worship
KidZone Worship Arts is for kids in grades 1-6, and KidZone, Jr, is for kids 3 years-Kindergarten. Each Sunday night, from 4:30 0 6:00 PM, kids will learn how to glorify God through songs, choreography, and drama. We will also have childcare for kids 2 years and under.
