Kids Ministry

What We Value

Our mission at Parkside is to make church a place where children want to be. Our passion is to build relationships so that we might have the privilege of being part of each child's spiritual journey, as they become a devoted follower of Christ. We believe a child’s spiritual growth begins at birth, so as your child grows, his knowledge of biblical truths deepens. Your child’s faith experience begins the minute they enter Parkside. It’s exciting and fun. The children’s ministry will team up with you in reaching, teaching, and building children of real faith and character that lasts. We also offer tools to equip you as the primary spiritual leader in the home. As a parent/guardian, you will have the opportunity to participate in Sunday School and worship knowing that your child is being taught the Bible and is well cared for.

Family Dedication is one of the first steps we take in partnering with parents. This shared time is a beautiful expression for parents to publicly declare their intention to raise their child in a God-centered home and with the people of Parkside as we declare together that we will all play a part in the spiritual formation of a child's life.
If you’re interested in participating, contact our preschool and children's director, Kathy Lovell using the button down below!

What Matters Most to God . . . and to AWANA . . . and to Parkside

Children hold a special place in Jesus’ heart. He created them. He sacrificed His life for their sins. He longs for them to know, love and serve Him. He desires to spend eternity with them. His kingdom belongs to such as these.

For the safety of our children, we have specific check-in procedures and pick-up procedures. Parents or guardians need to check children in at the preschool kiosk.  Sparks/T&T are to be picked up at the north doors of the ROC gym.

Age-group programs* available through AWANA

  •  Sparks: K-2nd grade

  •  Truth & Training: 3rd-6th grade
