When and Where I got saved:
I was saved when I was 9 years old in October, 1974, at Lanier Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. My best friend's father was our Pastor, and our church was right down the street from my house. If the weather was nice, we would walk to Church together as a family. Brother David, as we called him then, was a gifted pastor and shared the most wonderful sermons and gave "object lessons" on Sunday nights. He would bring an everyday object and incorporate it into a lesson with a spiritual application. After one of those lessons, I felt the undeniable impression on my heart to walk forward and give my life to Christ.

In my spare time I...
Spend as much time as possible with my family, travel, read, play the piano, listen to music, and craft when time allows.
People that inspire me
There are so many people on this list, but my parents are number one. They have been through much but have always provided unconditional and unending love to everyone in their family. They are both so giving and would do anything to help anyone in need. They are both great examples of what it is to be a husband and wife, loving parent, brother, sister, and grandparent.

Tell us about your family
My favorite people in the world are;: my husband, Gene; my daughter Haley, her husband, Jeremy, and their children Maggie and Wyatt; my daughter Meagan and her husband, Ben; and my daughter, Mollie. Also, my parents, Bob and Geneva, and my siblings; Sandra, Chris, and Jason and their families are my other favorite people to be around. Prior to the pandemic, my whole family got together every week to have lunch at my parent's home and will hopefully be able to do that again soon.
