The mission of the Recreation and Sports Ministry is to help people find the Lord by using recreation and sports. We want to reach those around us with the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Recreation Outreach Center and the Recreation Ministry is to:

Reach the community for Christ by intentionally sharing the Gospel;

Strengthen fellowship among participants by challenging them to a closer relationship with Christ and each other;

Establish and maintain a spiritual tone that exalts Christ; and

Assist individuals in honoring Christ by caring for their bodies through a lifestyle of health and wellness.

This multi-purpose facility includes the following amenities:

coffee bar/cafe area
walking track

multiple classrooms
restrooms and showers
offices

Parkside's outdoor facilities include a sand volleyball court, softball field, a large open field that is used for flag football and soccer, and a playground for children that includes monkey bars and a variety of climbing forts and slides. We also have two concession stands that are operational during our outdoor programs. Our softball field and sand volleyball court are open to the public upon reservation.
