Family
Chet is married to Terri and they have three girls: Amanda (husband Carl); Sara (husband Joe); Angela, who is a college student; two grandsons and one granddaughter.

Education
Chet graduated from Southwest High School in Fort Worth. He has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Baylor University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Ministry/Work Experience
Before joining the Parkside staff in February 1996, Chet served as pastor of First Baptist Church in Woodville, TX, and Midway Baptist Church in Big Spring, TX. Prior to that, he was a youth minister for several years.

Hobbies/Interests
Chet enjoys archery, fitness, reading, and most anything outdoors.

Some Things You May Not Know About Him
--Chet was once a Dr. Pepper man with a route in Tarrant County.
--Chet drove a school bus in Waco.
--Chet is working on his first book.

Tan is married to Janet and they have two children, Drew (a recent college graduate) and Erin, a college student.

Education
Tan graduated from high school in Cross Plains, TX. He has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Tarleton State University, a Masters degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Education degree in Christian Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Ministry/Work Experience
Prior to joining the staff at Parkside in June 2006, Tan served at Harvey Baptist Church in Stephenville, TX; First Baptist Church in Midlothian, TX; and Cook Baptist Church in Ruston, LA. He was a Curriculum Design Editor at LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville, TN, and also taught Christian education and church administration courses and was Director of Student Services at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN.

Hobbies/Interests
Tan likes reading, writing, fishing, bicycling, and the beach.

Some Things You May Not Know About Him
--Tan's favorite foods are pizza and Mexican food.
--Tan was born in West Germany on an American hospital base, was named after a Frenchman, and was delivered by a Hispanic doctor.
--Even though he is a terrible singer, Tan once sang with Michael W. Smith at a wedding.

Dave is married to Karomy and they have four year old twins Jackson and Madison.

Education
Dave graduated from Hardin-Simmons University, having earned a Bachelor of Music Degree (Music Educaton Major) and a master of Music degree (Church Music Major).

Ministry/Work Experience
Before joining the Parkside staff in August of 2010, Dave served as Minister of Music at FBC Plainview for 3 years. Prior to that he served at Wylie Baptist Church in Abilene, FBC of Odessa and Pioneer Drive Baptist Church in Abilene.

Hobbies/Interests
Dave enjoys spending time with his wife Karomy and their children.

Steve is married to Jan and they have three children: Steve Jr.; Stephanie (husband Chris); Stacie (husband Jason); and six grandchildren.

Education
Steve graduated from Salem High School in Salem, IL. He has a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Leadership from Greenville College and a Masters degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Ministry/Work Experience
Prior to joining the staff at Parkside in September 2002, Steve was in the military for 26 years; he is retired from the U.S. Air Force. He served as a lay minister during most of his military service. He served on the staff at Calvary Baptist Church in Rapid City, SD; Tower View Baptist Church in Belleview, IL; and First Baptist Church, Crowley, TX.

Hobbies/Interests
Steve like to fish and camp.

--Steve met Jan in church when he was 15 and she was 13.

Jason is married to Naomi and they have one son, Brady.

Education
Jason graduated from Permian High School in Odessa, TX. He has a Bachelors degree in Religious Education from Howard Payne University and a Masters degree in Educational Ministries from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Previous Ministry/Work Experience
Prior to joining the Parkside staff in June 2008, he served at First Baptist Church in Comanche, TX; First Baptist Church in Brock, TX; and First Baptist Church in Bloomfield, NM.

Hobbies/Interests
Jason likes fly fishing, football, sports, reading Christian fiction, and spending time with students.

Some Things You May Not Know About Him
--Jason feels that he has a call on his life to be in student ministry long-term. 
--Jason won the horseshoe pitching championship in sixth grade. (Because of his great humility, he chooses not to brag about this significant accomplishment.)

Tria is married to Don and they have four girls: Brieann, Hannah, Hailey, and Tessa.

Education
Tria graduated from North Garland High School in Garland. She has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas.

Ministry/Work Experience
Prior to joining the Parkside staff in June 2008, Tria was a church member for 10 years, serving in various teaching and leadership positions. She has held several positions in the secular workplace including Vice President of Operations for Mortgage Information Services in Dallas. She also held several positions with Experian Marketing Solutions in Allen, including Project Coordinator, Manager of Computer Services, Director of Sales, and Vice President of Sales.

Hobbies/Interests
Tria likes to snow ski, water ski, read, and spend time with her family.

Some Things You May Not Know About Her
--Tria's first job was selling portrait settings for Dillard's Portrait Studio.
--Tria has taken a big leap of faith and has securely landed on God's grace as a part of the Parkside staff.
